The sidebar offers all the necessary information including the mileage, fuel economy, price, engine, and a handy finance calculator.
The theme comes with a dedicated compare feature. To use this feature, make sure that you have created a new page and set it up from the theme customizer section. Visitors can use this feature to compare different vehicles side-by-side.
I have already mentioned the finance calculator while discussing the individual inventory item page. This is an interesting feature that allows the visitors to find out the total amount, total interest, and the monthly payment for their desired vehicle.
Now that you know what the main features of this theme are let’s find out how to add a new listing item to your website.
Creating a New Listing Item
Creating a new listing item simply means adding a new car to your dealership, listing directory, or rental site. There are two ways to create a new listing –
- From the Backend,
- From the Frontend.
Adding a Car from Backend
To create a new item from the backend, go to Listings -> Add New. You will be taken to the new item page. First of all, there will be the usual title and description fields.
Alternatively, you can use the built-in Visual Composer to create a unique layout. There are lots of custom modules to help you display different types of content.
You will find the real options below at the “Listing Manager” section. The options are divided into several tabs. The “Details” tab includes separate fields for the stock number, listing location, city and highway MPG, date of registration, certificate details, brochure, etc.

If your car comes with unique features, you can add these from the “Features” tab. All the price details could be set from the “Prices” tab. You will also find separate tabs for providing images and videos of the vehicle.
Adding a Car from Frontend
On the other hand, you can add a new item from the front-end by clicking the “Add Your Item” button. This will take you to a page like the following –
As you can see, the process is divided into six steps. In the first step, you have to provide car details like the condition, manufacturer, model, year, body type, mileage, etc.
Step two is for choosing the various car features. As the available features are presented as checkboxes, you just have to check the appropriate ones.
The next two steps are for uploading images and videos of your vehicle.
In step five, you can add your notes to the vehicle. And the last step is where you will provide your asking price.
Once you have provided all the necessary information, click the “Submit Listing” button to submit your item for approval.
