Customers are the lifeline of any business. In traditional businesses, customers can provide their feedback directly to the manufacturer, distributors, and so on. But what about online businesses? How can customers provide feedback for online businesses?

The answer is customer reviews. Customers can leave reviews to express their opinions about the products or services offered by online businesses.

That leads us to the following question –

  • How can you enable customer reviews on your website?

While there are several ways to do that, I have found a simple solution. I am talking about Wiremo, a convenient way to collect and display customer reviews on your website.

In today’s post, I will take an in-depth look at Wiremo and introduce you to all of its amazing features. Let’s get started with a brief overview of Wiremo.

This is how the reviews look like on the website –

Exploring The Dashboard

The panel offers a complete overview of your reviews. First of all, you will find the average review score and the number of reviews for the whole website. There is an excellent breakdown showing the percentage of reviews you received for each star point.

The next section shows the latest accepted reviews. You can choose to view all reviews or only 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1-star reviews. It is also possible to move any review to the conversation, or mark this as pending or declined.

Lastly, you will find a graph showing the review trends on your website. You can view the graph for various timeframes like the week, month, and year.

Managing the Reviews

The “Reviews” section enables you to view and manage the reviews provided by the visitors. For each review, you will find the reviewer name, the score, review content, review time, current status, and so on.

You can get more information by clicking on the review. It offers additional information like the email address, location, IP address, and the post link.

Review status makes it very easy to track the current status of the review. Reviews with the green icon are accepted, while the red icon indicates a pending status.

Click the cog icon to open the available actions. You can accept, decline, reply, delete, or leave the review as pending.

Handling Conversations

You can turn any review into a conversation from the dashboard. There are two ways to start a conversation.

Firstly, go to the dashboard and head towards the “Latest Accepted Reviews” section. Find out your desired review, click on the drop-down icon, and click the “Move to Conversation” link.

Alternatively, go to “Reviews” and find out the desired review. Click the cog icon and select “Reply as a ticket“. Both of these methods will create a conversation for that review.

Go to “Conversations” to manage the existing conversations. For each conversation, you will find the name, subject, last update, status, etc.

Customizing the Interface

Wiremo comes with several customization options to help you personalize the app interface. Go to “Customize” to access the options.

You will find the admin options in the “App configurations” section. First of all, you can choose to use the default avatar or use a custom one.

Next, you will find a few options to update the business name, website URL, business category, default language, etc. It is also possible to enable or disable push and email notifications and auto-approve the reviews.

The “App design” section hosts all the options related to design. There is a handy preview section to check out the actual look of the design changes you are making.

First of all, you can disable the wiremo branding. In “Rating setting“, you can choose the style, size, color for the star.

Button settings” enables you to choose the style, size, and color of the button. In “Color Settings“, you will find separate options to choose the colors for review form, name, and options link.

Once you have made the changes, click the “Save” button to apply the changes.
